The
diversity of the Caribbean Coast offers to the visitant a great
experience in Guatemala even if it is seen in a short trip. The
natural richness of this region goes from tropical forests to white
sand beaches while the cultural array goes from archaeological sites
to living cultures. Copan, which is in Honduras is believed to be
a sister city of Quiriguá where you will find a collection
of stelaes bearing intricate carvings and measuring from 35 feet
long by 5 feet wide and 64 tons of weight.
